Annual Event

We have just had our first annual conference held at Birkbeck, The Clore in London. We had nearly 200 people register for the in person event and 100 people online.  The was a large scale event with lots of interesting and multipdisciplinary talks. We were honoured to have Professor Steven Williams as our Keynote speaker talking about the most recent developments in Ultralow Field Neuroimaging in the Young and it’s applications to global health studies.

We had rapid fire presentations from 5 people who were selected to present based on relevance to the network, novelty and allowing for a variety in the type of technology represented and 31 posters presented at the conference.   The recently funded pump prime awardees gave a talk about their research projects, followed by important talks on perspectives for the network to consider in relation to people with ‘lived experiences’ of neurodiversity.  An inspirational talk from Professor Paul Appelbaum on Ethical Considerations for Child Specific Technologies truly highlighted the implications that diagnosis can have on carers and the factors that need to be understand when looking at developmental implications.

We had a great attendance at the network by Early Career Researchers and are pleased to announce that this section is expanding quickly.  There was a prize….[INSERT PRIZE AND TRAVEL AWARD INFO…]

Working Group Updates

We now have all our working groups up and running in relation to the four pillars of this network. Membership for these groups is open to members of the network.  Membership preferences, in terms of which groups they are linked to, can be changed at anytime either by emailing the network or editing your own preferences using the membership link HERE.
